Dawn Newbern

Dawn resides on the beautiful St. Simon’s Island, Georgia, with her husband where she has worked as a full-time artist for the past twenty five years. Her primary focus has been painting murals and canvas art for many schools, churches, businesses, private homes, etc. across the United States. Working mostly in acrylics and mixed media, Dawn’s paintings always reflect a fresh, colorful, and happy palette. In fact, almost everyone who enters her gallery says, “Ahh, it feels so happy here.” Her favorite subjects are whimsical florals, mixed abstracts and coastal themes, and sometimes she mixes in her personal wallpaper and fabric designs. She feels extremely blessed to be able to add a little more beauty to God’s amazing world.
