Sarah Hargrave
After years in real estate finance and founding a building and design company in 2013, Sarah honed her expertise in creating homes. With a growing focus on interiors, she expanded from a solo studio to a thriving collective and brick-and-mortar space. The Collective storefront embodies Sarah’s passion for promoting local artists, crafting custom furnishings, and curating unique antique and vintage pieces, all rooted in her belief that home should be inviting, attainable, and uniquely personal. As owner and principal designer at THE COLLECTIVE INTERIORS, Sarah leads her teams with a laid-back process and an eclectic Southern style. She specializes in high-end new construction homes, renovations, and luxury furnishing projects. With a full-service residential design studio team, a curated shop, and a line of custom furnishings, what Sarah offers her local community is a holistic and inimitable approach to interiors.

Alisa Schmidt
Studio Director
If you've visited The Collective store, you've most likely had the pleasure of meeting Alisa! Alisa is our Studio Manager who strives to make every customer experience enriched and unique. With a dynamic background working at nationally-ranked museums and a Fortune 100 company, her insight and passion for the collaboration of art and design and its ability to enhance daily life brings an unmatched energy and approachability to our team at The Collective. Alisa attended the University of Oklahoma where she majored in art history and minored in both interior design and business.
Elizabeth Bernet
Marketing & Social Media Director
Elizabeth leads The Collective’s marketing, social media and PR initiatives. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and has a degree in corporate communications. Prior to joining the design industry, Elizabeth has spent time in both agency and in-house marketing roles. Over the past decade, she has led marketing strategy for entertainment and retail brands such as StubHub, Main Event, ZZ Top, Sugar Ray, Uncle Kracker, and Hari Mari. Elizabeth’s mother is an interior designer and they love to collaborate!
Mollie Griffin
Studio Design Associate
As the Studio Design Associate, Mollie assists both the design team and the brick-and-mortar storefront. She graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Hospitality Management Degree. Mollie is originally from Jackson, MS where she started her Interior Design career. She worked at an interior design studio and received invaluable experience as a designer's assistant. Mollie has always had a passion to be in the Interior Design field and is so excited to continue living out that dream in Dallas, TX.
Taylor Cunningham
Studio Designer
Born and raised in Dallas, Taylor attended The University of Mississippi where she earned a degree in integrated marketing communications. Taylor worked for a custom furniture manufacturing company and developed a deep love, knowledge, and experience with every aspect of the custom furniture process. She has a passion for designing pieces that incorporate different periods and styles - for timeless one-of-a-kind furnishings. Taylor assists our design team, other designers, and our retail clients by sketching the piece they envision for their space, helping them select finishes, and more.
Hadley Jackson
Marketing Coordinator
Our marketing coordinator, Hadley, brings a creative perspective to content, photography and presentations. Originally from Louisville, KY, she made her way to Texas and graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Hadley’s experience from the fashion industry lends inspiration to the bright color palettes and layered textures that she gravitates towards.
