Lanie Mann

Lanie was raised in North Carolina where her mother, an artist and art teacher, filled her childhood with projects about color and composition. She studied art history and lived abroad in Florence where her passion for painting became clear.

Her preferred mediums are acrylic, oil, watercolor and ink. She uses canvases of all sizes to explore color and energy in abstract pieces. Her paintings are loose and layered—purposely imperfect, and her goal is to create pieces that spark connections, ignite curiosity and make people happy.
