Clementine Cavanagh

Clementine grew up in a generationally owned ocean front Inn in Maine. Surrounding oneself with beautiful things is something that was instilled in her since childhood. Gifts were always hand made, arts and crafts were carefully sifted through before showcased, and art classes were a regular. Her mother is an interior designer and her father, an artist. Her love to create has been a constant in her life.

Clementine spent her entire school years taking extensive art classes and apprenticing under an established Maine artist into adulthood. She explored a large variety of mediums from ink, watercolor, oil, to ceramics and sculpture.

After years of illustrative work and commissions, Clementine launched her business as a full time painter in 2023. Within two weeks her entire collection sold, propelling her into a full time painting career. Clementine’s work has been featured and sold nationally.

Clementine’s work is contemporary and expressionistic. With bold colors, line and patterns she aims to grasp feminine leisure and the art of celebration with rich interiors.

In addition to her artwork, Clementine has been restoring her late 1700s coastal Maine home and has been featured in Downeast Magazine, Homeworthy and Decor Maine.
