Hand-carved resin with incredible detail depicting birds and lotus flowers in a garden scene over a geometric, latticed design. The highly detailed outdoor scene on the body design features a green inlay that further highlights the intricate details, finished in a domed glass stopper. Historically popular starting in the Qing Dynasty, these pocket-sized vessels were originally used to carry powdered tobacco, and grew in popularity to become individual works of art.
