Dragon Snuff Bottle ^Sale

Resin snuff bottle with relief carvings depicting a traditional Chinese dragon among clouds in vibrant hues of turquoise. Fitted with a dome-shaped turquoise cap sitting on a decorative metallic collar. Please note, this lid has been glued on at some point in its lifetime, and is no longer removable. Historically popular starting in the Qing Dynasty, these pocket-sized vessels were originally used to carry powdered tobacco, and grew in popularity to become individual works of art.
